Serving as a center of competence, the Union provides expert and analytical support to market participants. Special emphasis is placed on regulatory frameworks, safety, and the integration of hydrogen technologies into existing infrastructure.

Oleg Zhdaneev
Co-founder and Head of the Center of Competence for Technological Development of the Fuel and Energy Sector under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.Dr. Sci. (Engineering), laureate of the G.M. Krzhizhanovsky Award of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Government Prize in Science and Technology. Oleg Zhdaneev has over 20 years of international executive experience in the fuel and energy sector, including leadership roles in both Russian and foreign companies. He holds honorary titles including Distinguished Oil Industry Professional, Honored Subsurface Explorer, and Distinguished Worker of Science and High Technology of the Russian Federation. He also serves as Secretary of the Scientific and Technical Council on Technological Development of the Fuel and Energy Sector under the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
